Paul Morris

Dr. Paul Morris
Principal of Bierbaum Elementary School

Dr. Paul Morris is currently in his 19th year in education and 11th year serving the Bierbaum community. His journey in education began in the classroom, where he taught second, third and fifth grades across the Rockwood, Bayless and Mehlville school districts before transitioning to administration as Assistant Principal at Bierbaum in 2017.

Dr. Morris earned his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Missouri State University in 2008, followed by a Master's in School Leadership from Lindenwood University in 2013. He completed his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Maryville University in 2020, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Under Dr. Morris' leadership, Bierbaum Elementary has cultivated a positive school climate where collaboration and high expectations thrive. Recent staff climate surveys reflect overwhelmingly positive feedback about the school environment, contributing to exceptional staff retention rates. This supportive culture has also fostered significant student growth and achievement across all grade levels. Dr. Morris is dedicated to fostering an environment where students, staff, and families feel valued, supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

What Dr. Morris values most in his role as a school leader is the opportunity to work in a community he has grown to love so much. Outside of education, he enjoys running and expressing his creativity through photography, particularly capturing images of old, abandoned places where he can imagine what life was like in these long-forgotten places.
